BACKGROUND

Organized as a partnership in September 1987, the firm incorporated in June 1991, changed its name to Bartelt/Jaynes in 1993 and to Bartelt, Jaynes & Lu in 2002. The company is a continuation of an accounting practice founded in the 1930's by Bartelt family and has been in existence for over 60 years.

STAFF

The professional staff consists of six certified public accountants (including the three owners Edward K. Bartelt, R. Edward Jaynes and Jeffrey E. Lu), two CPA candidates and two para-professionals.

It is the policy of our firm that no personal, non-public information, that we collect about you will ever be disclosed to anyone, except that which is already public or permitted by law.

Should you close your account with us, or become an inactive client, we will continue to adhere to the policy regulations as written here.

The information you give us about your personal or business records is reserved only for our employees who need to know in order to service your account.

Procedural physical and electronic safeguards will be maintained in compliance with Federal and California standards regarding non-public personal information.
